Page addresses and redirects
Change a page address, hide a page from Google, send old links to new pages.
Page addresses
- Turn on Advanced options:, then open Advanced settings.
- Open Pages and Google. Change a page address, or hide a page from Google or the menu.
- When you change an address, we add a redirect from the old one. Old links keep working.
Redirects
- Open Redirects.
- Moving from an old website? Type the old address, like /about-us.html.
- Pick the new page. Visitors and Google go there.
- A real page always wins over a redirect with the same address.
Tip: Redirects only go to pages on your own website.
